Our radio show, ‘Nerdy
5 FM’, covers entertainment news and plays the latest and unpopular tunes from
current artists. Our most successful segment, ‘Weekly Top 5 Chart’ is different
from its siblings. Instead of having the current week’s votes depending from
the previous result, the songs are reset back to zero, making any song fair
game. Our target audiences are teenagers, young adults and people looking for
new tunes to get into. This segment is aired on Saturday from 6.00pm to 6.30pm because
many would be tuned to their radios in their vehicles and Saturday evenings are
most people’s off-days.
