entails of food reviews, recipes, interesting facts of food, interviews with
entrepreneurs who are in the food business and restaurant reviews.
Who owned the
magazine and when was it established? What function do you think the
magazine play in society?
The magazine is
owned by MW Magazines Sdn Bhd, which was established in 2015. It is to inform
the public about recently opened restaurants, teach the public how to cook
certain dishes, provide some insight in the culinary arts area and inform the
public on which restaurants are worth their money through reviews.
Who reads these
magazines? What's the estimate circulation number of the magazine?
Readers of this
particular magazines are ‘food fanatics’, chefs and aspiring entrepreneurs
looking into entering the food business. It is circulated in Malaysia.

magazine publishing company specializes in?
Our magazine publishing company
specializes in animation and digital art.
2. b) What are your main target audience?
Our main target audience for this
magazine are digital artists, graphic designers, photo editors, animators
and people who is interested in learning and dabbling in digital art.
2. c) How do you plan on attracting the
market share of your target group?
We plan to create advertisements to
promote our magazine through platforms such as the television, radio,
billboards and newspapers. We will also employ a famous digital artist to be
the face of our magazine to attract readers to purchase our magazines.
3. Your revenue stream.
Our chosen revenue stream would be through subscriptions. Our
subscriptions would apply the paid circulation method. We would also have some advertisements
from digital art companies or video games companies in our magazines to
increase our revenue.
4. Describe
the content of your magazine. What are the key topics or issues would your
magazine company choose to focus on?
One of the key topics or issues our
magazine company would choose to focus on is to help develop the artistic talent
and designing skills of our readers. Our readers can learn and experiment with
the provided tools, such as blending colours, construct and manipulate shapes, combine
visual elements and composite and create various kinds of backgrounds and
scenes. At the same time, readers can learn to bring static images to life
through the time and motion tools.
Moreover, our magazine would entail a
few reviews of digital art software. This is to inform the readers on which
software is suited for who (example: beginners, experts) or if the software is
worth spending on. For example, some probably have a budget limit if they are
looking to purchase a software. So with reviews, they will be able to tell
which software is good and within their budget.
Additionally, a Q&A section would be
provided and will be manned by expert digital artists. This section is to put
readers’ questions and fears to rest. Some readers might have a certain problem
they cannot overcome and need experts’ help.
Our magazine will also display fans’ artwork
and submissions. This is to give aspiring, rookie and skilled artists a
platform to exhibit their work to other readers. Furthermore, this will boost
their confidence and make them strive to be better.
